This episode will pay an homage to Federer’s sense of elegance both physically and morally. A few players are known for being this fair play! Indeed, a sportsman rarely becomes a symbol of elegance and distinction as he is in the middle of a match. Federer doesn’t even seem to be sweating and keeps a straight, serene face at all times. He was actually sacred most Stylish man of the decade in 2017 by fashion and lifestyle iconic magazine GQ. He is a mix of sobriety and nobility and actually has friendly ties with the Royal Family since he gives tennis lessons to young Prince Georges. To honor his sense of style, we have decided to ask 4 iconic and stylish women to take Federer’s appearance. They will be dressed up, maked up, wearing recognizable Federer outfits from the past 20 years and start playing on the court! The arbitrator will be the infamous Vogue Magazine editor Anna Wintour - a close friend of the Federers’- yet she won’t be judging the girls’ way of playing but their style instead ! To get into Federer’s shoes, four incredible icons and Federer fans : Blake Lively, Uma Thurman, Lena Gercke and Natalie Portman are expected.

The voiceover tells us about Roger’s legendary fair play and sets the theme of the episode: Roger’s elegance, on and outside the court. The voiceover gives Anna Wintour – close friend of the Federers – the task to guide us through this theme. 

Thanks to many archives images, we will compare Roger’s elegance and serene face on the lawn with other great players’ faces. They are reddish, sweating, looking like they could pass away. On the other hand Roger’s face remains placid, calm, full of serenity.

We meet his first trainer Peter Ludgren, who will reveal that young Roger was obsessed with his style. This obsession could have actually been anti-competitive. He would watch and re-watch his own games again and again, expressing his will to show off through incredible hits. Style was taking too much place in his game.
